More than just a dealership, we’re an international meeting point — a hub for Motorcycle Clubs and for the Comitato Motoraduno Internazionale Mandello del Lario — and a place where true enthusiasts come together.

Duilio Agostini was born in Mandello del Lario in 1926. His family owned the “Giardinetto” hotel overlooking Lake Como — a regular meeting place for legendary motorcycle racers like Omobono Tenni, Stanley Woods, Bandini, Moretti, Prini, and many others, along with members of the Moto Guzzi management team.
1947
After completing Moto Guzzi’s in-house mechanical design school, Duilio joined the Customer Service department. Starting in 1947, he became the go-to test rider for Carlo Guzzi and had the opportunity to work closely with engineer Giulio Carcano, the mastermind behind the legendary V-twin and the iconic eight-cylinder engine.
1950
He entered his first race riding a privately owned Condor 500 that he had prepared himself — and soon, the first victories began to arrive.
1953
Riding a Guzzi “Dondolino”, he claimed overall victory in the Milan-Taranto race and was crowned Italian Champion.
1954
He became an official rider in the 250 and 350 classes aboard the Bialbero, winning the Italian championship and competing in international races alongside legends like Anderson, Kavanagh, and Lorenzetti — earning significant victories and podium finishes.
1955
At the Tourist Trophy he obtained eighth position and met an Australian girl whom he married the following year.
1956
He opened a Moto Guzzi workshop in Mandello, which later became an official dealership. By the end of 1957, Duilio retired from racing.
1970
In the 1970s, Duilio formed a team of riders and mechanics and successfully competed in European 24-hour endurance races with a Guzzi V7 Sport that he personally tuned. This experience led to the creation and sale of many special parts for Moto Guzzi tuning.
1981
Duilio’s daughters, Alis and Lindy, started working in the dealership.
2009
The dealership’s activity was continued by Alberto Agliati and a dedicated team of passionate collaborators.
2010
Victory in the FMI GRISO CUP National Championship with rider Claudio Fioroni.
